A three-track EP where guochao — Chinese neo-traditional sound — meets the grain of the blues. Mountains and sea as prologue; a story of drifting and of the way home. "Half Hill Half Tide" is a love letter to the coast, the tide breathing under the guitar. "The Wheel Of Turf" carries a lazy retro-blues swing — a football pitch at dusk folded into a melody. "The Old Car Between the Snow Mountains" is a gentle narrative sketching a road trip across mountains and oceans. Words, music, and production all my own, shaped with the help of modern music tools. Every line hides something I noticed about the world. Thanks for listening.
